“The Way I See It: A Personal Look at Autism & Asperger's”

Dr. Temple Grandin, a Professor at Colorado State University, is one of the first individuals to speak publicly and share insights from her personal experience with autism. She has authored over 60 peer reviewed scientific papers on animal behavior and authored over 80 books related to autism. Dr. Grandin invented the “Hug Box” device to help calm those on the autism spectrum.
Please join us at this special event to support our students us as we continue to grow.
Proceeds from this luncheon will help us to equip classrooms with iPads, technology, classroom libraries, flexible seating options, sensory equipment, and provide additional playground equipment, including swings, scooters, and canopies. It will also support our enrichment programs, including yoga, performing arts, visual art, dance, community-based instruction, and physical education.
